Inmotion

image

Not sure what it's supposed to be called, but Inmotion is plastered all over the box and the unit, but within the software it's called Interaction 42 in 1. There is Grafix KIDS printed on the box if that means anything

Anyway I picked this up from a car boot sale for £3, it was complete but without the PSU, but happily the PSU from a Spectrum 48/+2 works perfect. Hooray!!

image image

The box is a little on the tatty side, and really shouts about having 42 games included

image image image

13 Interactive + 21 Arcade + 8 Athletics = 42 Games. That is stretching it a bit, but 42 entries in the menu means 42 games to some people

image

High quality vacuum formed plastic keeping it all safe while in transit

image image

It's quite square really, and very light

image image

There is an attempt to make it look like a PS5, if you squint at it, in the dark, while wearing sunglasses, and looking the other way, it might

image image

TV GAME! It will run from a Sinclair Spectrum PSU if you don't get the original PSU or it's broken

image image

The controllers kinda look like the controllers from the Nintendo Wii, they are labelled 1 and 2, only controller 1 will work in the menu

image

A Video and Audio lead is included

image

A stand for the unit, bit like a Nintendo Wii, but much cheaper feeling plastic

image image

It is quite grubby really

image image image

The instruction book, to be fair, it does say it doesn't compete with the XBOX, Playstation, Nintendo Wii or equivalent

image

It had crusty batteries in the controllers, which the cover was held shut with a screw. Fortunately nothing was damaged, so that was lucky, I think

image

Anyway, new batteries were installed and the lights light up, brightly, whenever you move the controller, or press a button

Software

They are all crap, the graphics are fuzzy at best, very little movement happens on screen, quite often your player isn't represented on screen, you just guess when to press the button, and the very short (like two seconds long) repetitive tunes are at best, annoying, and the sound effects are even worse. The controllers don't have motion sensors like the Wii, they do detect movement, maybe by a vibration sensor?

It really is quite poor
