Acer Aspire 4552
Here is a laptop I recently acquired with no PSU, but it uses the same 19V PSU from my Acer ES1-512 Not much going on on the top and bottom, at least you can remove the battery without taking apart the machine, unlike my other Acer Laptop The battery removed Ports-wise, on the left there's the Kensington lock, power, VGA, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB2 On the front is the mic, headphone, and a SD card slot On the right are two USB2's and the DVD/CD writer The keyboard with the mic, touchpad, and indicator LED's There is a web-cam above the screen and one of those annoying touch-pads where you scroll along the edge rather than with two fingers Using the PSU from the Acer ES1-512 it boots very slowly into Windows 7. Honestly, it took forever It will need a re-install as it's almost unusable at the moment, I'll probably install Xubuntu as that's my distro of choice at the moment It has an AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-Core Processor running at 2.10GHZ with 2 GB of RAM and it still took several minutes to open this page For more retro hardware check out my online museum here
